Solar Project - Engineer

A Solar Project Engineer plays a critical role in designing, planning, and executing solar power projects. In this position, you will manage all technical aspects of rooftop, ground-mounted, and floating solar plants — from feasibility to commissioning.

With 2–4 years of experience, candidates should have a B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy Engineering. Strong knowledge of PV system design, electrical layouts, grid integration, AutoCAD, and site evaluation is essential. You will collaborate with project managers, design teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution within budget and timeline.

Responsibilities include conducting site surveys, preparing detailed engineering designs, coordinating procurement, overseeing on-site installations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting the operations & maintenance (O&M) team post-commissioning. A good understanding of MNRE guidelines, CEA regulations, and state-level policies will add significant value.
