Job Title: Industrial Safety Engineer – Solar Power Projects Experience: 5–7 Years Location: Pan India Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar EPC Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and proactive Industrial Safety Engineer to ensure health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance across large-scale MW solar power plant projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing safety protocols at utility-scale project sites, with a deep understanding of solar EPC operations and statutory safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures for MW-scale solar project sites. Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations regularly. Ensure all construction and O&M activities comply with statutory safety and environmental regulations. Deliver safety induction training, toolbox talks, and periodic refresher training to all site personnel. Monitor usage of PPE, safety signage, and emergency preparedness protocols. Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to integrate safety into every stage of project execution. Maintain site safety records, prepare compliance reports, and liaise with authorities for site approvals. Promote a culture of continuous safety awareness and improvement across teams. Key Requirements: Degree/Diploma in Engineering with a specialization in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety / Environment. 5–7 years of experience in safety management for large-scale solar power plants (MW scale). Certified in OSHA/NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent safety standards. Strong knowledge of construction safety, electrical safety, and renewable energy site operations. Familiarity with Indian Factories Act, Environmental Regulations, and Solar MNRE guidelines. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Willingness to work and travel to remote project locations. Preferred: Experience with SCADA safety systems, fire protection, and evacuation planning.
