Software Testing Specialist - Manual/Automation Testing

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium, Java, Cucumber.js, and Playwright
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing for web and enterprise applications
• Perform API and Web Services testing using tools and scripting
• Create, execute, and maintain test scripts and test cases
• Perform multi-threaded and parallel test executions
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitHub, or VSS
• Validate system behavior under various configurations across Windows and Linux platforms
• Work with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/Oracle) for backend data validation
• Ensure compliance with payment security standards and perform SSL handshake validation
• Track and report defects, ensuring high-quality releases
  

Must-Have Skills

• 512 years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
• Proficient in Selenium with Java, TestNG, and automation frameworks
• Experience in API testing, including REST and SOAP
• Working knowledge of Playwright and Cucumber.js
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing metrics
• Experience in SQL queries and database testing
• Familiarity with SSL certificates, payment gateways, or credit card transaction flows
• Exposure to release automation tools like Jenkins, GitHub, or VSS
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Good communication, teamwork, and adaptability
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in testing secure payment systems
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing or containerized environments
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus
