Job Description:

We are seeking a Software Testing Intern (Manual Testing) who has prior experience working on live projects and has a strong interest in ensuring product quality. The candidate will be responsible for testing web or mobile applications, identifying bugs, and collaborating with developers to improve functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand project requirements and create detailed test cases and test scenarios
• Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Bugzilla
• Execute functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify hidden issues
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and resolve defects
• Prepare and maintain test reports and documentation
• Ensure quality standards and deadlines are met

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of STLC, SDLC, and bug life cycle
• Ability to write effective test cases and test scenarios
• Knowledge of different types of testing (Functional, Regression, Integration, UAT)
• Familiar with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Keen attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Must have completed at least one live project in software testing (manual)
• Available for a minimum of 6 months internship period
• Basic understanding of any automation tool will be an added advantage
