Job Title: Software Tester Engineer / Systems Engineer

Job Brief:

We are looking for a skilled Software Embedded Tester with expertise in Python to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of our embedded systems through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our products meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and executing test plans and test cases for embedded systems.
• Writing and maintaining automated test scripts using Python.
• Identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs and issues in the software.
• Collaborating with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Conducting performance, stress, and reliability tests on embedded systems.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Preparing detailed reports on test findings and providing feedback to stakeholders.
• Participating in design reviews to provide input on testability and potential issues.
• Continuously improving testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience
• Good to have experience in embedded software testing.
• Proficiency in Python, C++ programming.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Skills:

• Embedded systems testing(Not Mandatory).
• Python scripting for test automation.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like PyTest or Robot Framework.
• Experience in using Linux.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
