Software Tester (Automation) – Fintech

Experience: 3 - 5 YearsWork Location: Chennai (has to coordinate with the other locations too)Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester - QA with strong expertise inautomation testing and a solid background in financial technology (fintech). The idealcandidate will work closely with our development and product teams to ensure high-qualityproduct delivery through efficient testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium,

TestNG, JUnit, Appium or similar frameworks.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to

understand requirements and define test strategies.

Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure stability of fintech

applications.

Identify, log, and track bugs, and verify bug fixes.
Work in Agile/Scrum development environments and participate in sprint planning

and reviews.

Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation practices.

Required Skills:

3 - 5 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and scripting in

Java/Python.

Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in the fintech domain (banking, payments, lending, wealth tech, etc.).
Strong experience in API testing (REST/SOAP).
Exposure to mobile app testing (Android/iOS)
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
Knowledge of SQL and ability to work with large datasets.
ISTQB or relevant certification is an added advantage.
