Software Tester (Automated)

Job Description:

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Software Tester with 2-4 years of experience in automated testing to help ensure the reliability, performance, and functionality of our software products. As a Software Tester, you will work closely with our development and quality assurance teams to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.

2. Execute automated test cases to validate software functionality, performance, and security.

3. Communicate with the development team to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies.

4. Identify, document, and report software defects, ensuring their resolution and retesting.

5. Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and execute testing activities within project timelines.

6. Participate in test planning, test design, and test case reviews to maintain test documentation.

7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

8. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and test automation.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or related field.

· 2-4 years of professional experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.

· Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

· Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).

· Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for database testing.

· Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

· Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and collaboration skills.

· ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
