Software Support Associates

Job Description:

As a Software Support Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers needing assistance with our software products. You will troubleshoot issues, provide timely solutions, and ensure a positive user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, including installation, functionality, and performance.
• Document support requests and resolutions accurately in the ticketing system.
• Escalate complex issues to senior support or development teams when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams to stay updated on product changes and improvements.
• Help create and maintain support materials like FAQs and user guides.
• Deliver excellent customer service with patience and empathy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 2 year experience in software support, customer service, or a related role is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and software applications.
• Experience with support ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira) preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
