The Challenge:

Adobe Document Cloud Services team

is looking for a dedicated, highly motivated Software Quality Engineer and problem solver to join a high-caliber, fast-paced team. The engineer is expected to have solid experience in building test automation frameworks, validating distributed ML services, and ensuring high-quality, low-latency, and high-performance systems.

What you will do:

• Contribute to the quality strategy, validation, and release readiness of ML services from zero to production.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and tools for large-scale, high-performance services serving users worldwide.
• Develop and execute functional, regression, performance, and reliability tests to ensure product excellence.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and design teams to identify quality risks early and build comprehensive test coverage.
• Drive root cause analysis of production issues and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
  

What You Need To Succeed

• 2 - 4 years of experience in software quality engineering and test automation.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting.
• B.S./B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science or an equivalent engineering degree.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, RESTful services, and backend architectures.
• Hands-on experience with test design, automation frameworks, and debugging complex systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
• Self-motivated and adaptable with a growth mindset.
• Ability to work seamlessly across engineering teams, product management, and quality peers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  

Preferred skills:

• Exposure to ML services or LLMs.
• Experience with backend validation, API testing, and automation frameworks in Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools like New Relic, Grafana, etc.
• Experience with performance and scalability testing of distributed systems.
