Software Project Management

As a Software Technical Project Manager at Schaeffler, you will be responsible for delivering the technical content of the Software Engineering discipline for a project. You will lead and coordinate the technical activities performed by the SW development teams, including estimation, planning, task assignment, and escalate issues that cannot be resolved within the team. Your role will involve approving the technical solution of the SW Subsystem, driving the SW Release and deliveries, and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure project success. To excel in this role, you should possess Project Management Competency with skills in Stakeholder Management, Change Management, Problem Resolution Management, Escalation Management, Review and Release Management, and Customer Relationship Management. You should have at least 8 years of experience in the automotive or a comparable field with customer contact, and have successfully finished at least one project from Acquisition to Production launch as a team member. Knowledge of SW Product Development Process and functional leadership experience are highly preferred. Additionally, you should have worked as a team member in an international team and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
