Position Overview

This role involves end-to-end software development, from designing and developing to testing and maintaining scalable software solutions. The position requires expertise in full-stack development, particularly in Java-based backend technologies, with additional exposure to cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand business use-cases and technical requirements.
• Design and develop robust and scalable software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and other modern technologies.
• Lead the architectural design process for new applications or services, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Build both frontend interfaces and backend services (APIs, microservices) where required.
• Define and implement testing strategies using unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit).
• Adopt Agile methodologies to drive development cycles and team collaboration.
• Improve application performance through continuous tuning and refactoring.
• Ensure secure coding practices including encryption, anonymization, and data protection.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate their adoption for future development.
• Leverage CI/CD tools and processes for efficient software delivery.
  

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Strong experience with JUnit and test-driven development
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Experience in developing scalable backend services
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Cloud Run
• Familiarity with frontend technologies is a plus
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in Java backend development
