Software Engineer - Salesforce

Job Summary

We are looking for a Salesforce Engineer to design, develop, test, and implement solutions across Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, and Experience). The role involves working with both declarative tools and custom programming (Apex, Lightning Web Components), building scalable integrations, ensuring system performance, and supporting ongoing enhancements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about delivering quality solutions while following Salesforce best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions and reusable assets using Apex, LWC, and declarative programming.
• Practice test-driven development with proper unit testing and code coverage.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system stability.
• Manage Salesforce managed packages (install, upgrade, configure, remove).
• Use CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado) for deployments across environments.
• Work with Git and source control management for pull requests, reviews, and merge conflict resolution.
• Troubleshoot applications, resolve data issues, and deliver bug fixes.
• Optimize and extend features in existing Salesforce environments.
• Support inbound and outbound integrations with external systems using Salesforce APIs.
• Configure Salesforce security and access models, including profiles, roles, and permission sets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, demos).
• Support testing teams during validation and release cycles.
• Follow coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architectural reviews.
• Stay updated with new Salesforce features and suggest improvements.
• Contribute to process improvements and mentor peers when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform Developer I & II.
• 2–4 years of Salesforce development and administration experience (Sales, Service, Experience Clouds).
• Solid experience with Apex, SOQL, SOSL, triggers, batch classes, and scheduled jobs.
• Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura framework.
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Visualforce.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, record sharing, dynamic forms, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in building flows (record-triggered, screen, and auto-launched).
• Experience with Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP integrations, and integration patterns.
• Working knowledge of secure programming within Salesforce.
• Experience with Git, source control processes, and CI/CD tools like Copado.
• Knowledge of Developer Console, Query Optimizer, Data Loader, CLI, and Debug Logs.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
