Job Title: Camunda Developer Location: Pune Experience:4+ years Employment Type: Contract to hire Work Mode: Hybrid Notice Period: - Immediate joiners Job Description:- Camunda 8 API Developer Role Overview: We are looking for a Camunda 8 Developer with strong API development experience to join a high-performing team building a cloud-native orchestration layer platform on AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing BPMN-based workflows using Camunda 8, and integrating them with microservices via RESTful APIs in an Agile environment Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop business workflows using Camunda 8 (self-managed) with BPMN, DMN, and FEEL • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs that interact with external systems and platform services • Collaborate with product owners and architects to convert business process models into executable workflows • Implement connectors, workers, and message-based interactions in Camunda 8 using Java or Node.js • Ensure workflows are fault-tolerant, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture patterns • Contribute to CI/CD integration, test automation, and observability of workflow execution • Troubleshoot and optimize Camunda performance and workflow orchestration patterns • Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide input into sprint planning and retrospectives Required Skills Experience: • 3-5 years of experience with Camunda 7/8, preferably Camunda 8 Zeebe-based architecture • Strong hands-on experience with BPMN modeling, DMN tables, and worker implementations • Proficiency in REST API development using Java (Spring Boot) or Node.js • Familiarity with Camunda connectors, external task workers, and message correlation • Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and service orchestration • Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines • Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional Agile team and communicate effectively Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Camunda Operate, Tasklist, and Optimize • Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI) • Exposure to OAuth2/JWT and API security best practices • Knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, Step Functions) • Prior experience in banking/financial services, ideally working with HSBC Show more Show less
