Software Engineer - .Net Technologies

Mandatory Skills

• Extensive experience (6+ years) in software development with a strong focus on C# and the .NET framework.
• Proven and demonstrable hands-on experience with .NET 6 or .NET 8.
• Significant and successful experience in migrating applications from ASP.NET MVC 4.x to modern .NET versions (6 or 8).
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and T-SQL development, including designing and optimizing database schemas and writing complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerizing applications.
• Experience with Azure Container Registry (ACR) for managing Docker images.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration and deployment.
  

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the migration of existing ASP.NET MVC 4.x applications to .NET 6 or .NET 8.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications and APIs using C# and .NET.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Implement and manage containerization of applications using Docker.
• Deploy and manage applications using Azure Container Registry and Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other stakeholders to integrate backend services.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in .NET development and cloud technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
• Potentially mentor and provide guidance to junior developers.

• Familiarity with .NET UI component libraries such as DevExpress, Telerik, Infragistics, or Kendo UI.
