Job Description

Role Overview

Reports to the Software Architect and focuses on GUI design and development for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) software used in aerospace product testing.

Core Responsibilities

Develop LabVIEW and TestStand modules
Implement communication protocols and device drivers
Prepare automated test reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and project management

Technical Expertise Required

Proficiency in NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, and DBMS toolkits
Experience with measurement/simulation devices (DMM, Oscilloscope, SMU, etc.)
Familiarity with PXI systems, matrix cards, and communication buses (ARINC429, RS-485, TCP/IP)
Additional Skills
Ability to interpret wiring schematics and work with high-power devices (AC/DC supplies and loads)
Strong problem-solving skills and adherence to software engineering best practices
