Job Description

Role Overview:

Frontend Engineer

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with firmware and product development teams to ensure smooth integration between devices, user interfaces, and backend systems, while delivering reliable and user-friendly web experiences.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications and supporting infrastructure for solar and solar-hybrid energy systems.
  • Work in close coordination with firmware and product development teams to ensure consistent functionality and seamless user experiences.
  • Optimize front-end performance to ensure stable application behavior, even in low-bandwidth or remote locations.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of user-focused features for IoT-enabled products.
  • Support the maintenance of production systems and follow established change management processes.


Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with React.js
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS services: Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, API Gateway, VPC, IAM, Cognito
  • Strong JavaScript & TypeScript development skills
  • Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web accessibility standards (WAI-ARIA)


Good to Have:

  • Understanding of GDPR & CCPA compliance
  • Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation and AWS SAM
  • Experience interfacing with embedded hardware or IoT devices.
