Role Description

SkillzenLoop is seeking a highly motivated and curious Software Developer Intern to join our engineering team. This role is designed for a generalist developer who is eager to contribute to the entire software development life cycle (SDLC). You will work on real-world projects, helping to build, test, and deploy software that solves complex problems, all while learning industry-standard best practices and modern development workflows.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coding & Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to implement new features and improve existing functionality.

• Problem Solving: Collaborate with senior developers to troubleshoot technical issues and provide creative software solutions.

• Testing & QA: Perform unit testing and assist in identifying and fixing software bugs to ensure high-quality releases.

• Technical Research: Explore new technologies and tools that can be integrated into our current tech stack to improve efficiency.

• Documentation: Assist in maintaining technical documentation to help other developers understand the codebase and logic.

Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++) and familiarity with web technologies.

• Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Engineering principles.

• Version Control: Basic understanding of Git for collaborative development.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, remote environment.
