We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer II who will contribute as a strong individual performer and reliable collaborator within our engineering teams. You will design, build, and deliver robust features, ensuring high-quality code and efficient execution. At Techjays, you will strengthen your expertise, take ownership of critical components, and contribute to creating scalable systems while learning from senior engineers and shaping your growth journey.

What You’ll Do

• Build backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI) or C#
• Implement features and tests for high-performance, data-intensive systems
• Collaborate with peers to review code, solve problems, and ship scalable solutions
• Work with tools like PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and Snowflake
• Apply AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to increase productivity
• ·Learn from senior engineers and contribute to team growth and quality practices

What You’ll Bring

• 1–2 years of experience building backend software or data platforms
• Strong programming skills in Python or C#, with attention to clean code and testing
• Working knowledge of SQL databases and message queues (e.g., Kafka)
• Clear communication skills—both written and verbal
• Passion for continuous learning and a proactive, problem-solving attitude

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with modern data stacks: dbt, AWS Glue, S3, Dagster, Starburst
• Familiarity with frontend development (React, TypeScript) is a plus
• Exposure to AI-powered developer tools
