You will be part of Microsoft Core OS team in Azure Edge + Platform org. Our team is responsible for development of technologies to deploy OS updates to Azure fleet with minimal customer impact. How do you deliver impact-less updates on-time and every time to an ever growing fleet? How do you deploy impactful OS updates while keeping the millions of VMs up and running? How do you build the infrastructure for flighting and experimentation to reduce the time to bring features to market faster than ever before? If these challenges intrigue you, come talk to us. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering or a related field 3+ year of software development experience 1+ year of experience on cloud technologies 1+ year of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++/C#, Java, or Python Experience working with large scale distributed systems Solid design, development, and testing skills A strong problem solver. We expect you to own scenarios end-to-end across multiple components Be comfortable moving up / down the stack and writing code in both managed and native languages Exposure to live site engineering #IDCAzureEPHiring Responsibilities Design and Develop secure, testable and maintainable code Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) Embrace agile engineering practices and dev-ops culture with Live Site focus.
