What's the role? Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent 3-5 Years of software development experience, Excellent applied skills in Java programming, in combination with backend architectures, messaging technology,gies, and related frameworks Strong and applied experience in REST-based web service technologies, JSON and XML, SOA, and microservices architectures Strong and applied DBMS & SQL skills Strong and applied AWS skills (EC2, S3, RDS,), as well as experience with virtualization tools like Docker Solid knowledge of programming practices, striving to write great code that is reusable, flexible, and reliable. Self-motivated, well-organized, details-oriented, and a strong team player with an agile mindset Who are you? B.Eng./B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering 3+ years of software development experience Proficiency in Java Skills, that you are eager to apply and extend Proficiency in AWS (SQS, EMR, SNS, Serverless etc) Experience in event based programming Proficiency in REST based web service technologies, JSON and XML Experience with relational database systems and SQL, with a preference on PostgreSQL and/or Oracle Proficiency in using continuous integration, build and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, Git/Gerrit, Wikis). Strong analytical and problem solving skills with Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Quick to evaluate, understand and implement newer technologies Exhibit strong ownership and ability to work in global team environment HERE is an equal opportunity employer.
