Job Title: Software Engineer – Python Backend (Django/Postgres)
Experience : 3 to 5 Years
Location Pune - Hybrid

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer (Backend) with strong programming skills in Python and hands-on experience in Django and PostgreSQL. You will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems, APIs, and databases to power our applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend applications using Python (Django/DRF).
Build and consume RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices.
Collaborate with front-end developers, QA, and DevOps to deliver features.
Participate in debugging, performance tuning, and production support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–5 years of backend development experience in Python.
Strong knowledge of Django/Django REST Framework (DRF).
Experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, query optimization).
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker.
Understanding of OOP, design patterns, and REST principles.
Good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

Exposure to Redis, Celery, or message queues.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Knowledge of testing frameworks (PyTest, unittest).
