• Contribute to team growth by sharing expertise and mentoring junior developers. 

What you'll get to do

Here’s how you’ll get to make that happen: You're a full-stack engineer and are interested in learning and applying the technologies and frameworks in our stack and are experienced working within agile development teams that apply and experiment with practices such as emergent design, infrastructure automation and continuous delivery. You have a willingness to jump into our legacy code to improve it when needed and are excited in learning about how our industry operates! 

What will you be doing: Joining our engineering team at Serko, you’ll play a crucial role in developing critical features for our enterprise corporate customers. In this role you will   

• Develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java technologies.  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.  

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.  

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.  

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.  

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive. 

What you'll bring

You will contribute through your expertise in:  

• Java and it’s frameworks  

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. 

• Java /J2EE, Spring framework, HTTP, REST/SOAP APIs, Struts, Maven, JavaScript, HTML/CSS 

• A professional experience of

  minimum 3 years and above in relevant tech stack

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
