Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer – PostgreSQL Specialist

Location: Jaipur (Onsite)

Experience: 8+ Years

Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases on Linux / openSUSE platforms.
Perform advanced
performance optimization
and query tuning for large datasets (1000–2000 GB).
Work extensively with
timesqldb, toolkit, and related tools
for database management and analysis.
Implement best practices for
backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery
.
Troubleshoot database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high efficiency.
Collaborate with development teams to design efficient data models and SQL queries.
Monitor database health and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum
8+ years of hands-on experience
in PostgreSQL database development and administration.
Strong expertise in
Linux / openSUSE environments
.
Proven experience in
performance optimization
for large PostgreSQL databases (1000–2000 GB).
Hands-on experience with
timesqldb
and
toolkit
.
Strong knowledge of SQL, indexing strategies, and query tuning.
Solid understanding of database internals, replication, and partitioning.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have:

Experience with automation and monitoring tools.
Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
Exposure to cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) for PostgreSQL.
