Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with 5 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Server Oracle and PL/SQL along with a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance. This role requires working from our office during day shifts with no travel required. Proficiency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust software solutions using SQL Server Oracle and PL/SQL to meet business requirements in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and optimize database systems that enhance operational efficiency.
Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns that can drive business decisions and improve customer satisfaction.
Ensure the integrity security and performance of databases through regular monitoring and maintenance activities.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
Document database designs configurations and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve database management practices.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to maintain high-quality coding standards.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for database solutions.
Implement data migration and integration processes to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
Optimize SQL queries and database performance to enhance application responsiveness and user experience.
Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for database design and implementation.
Support the companys mission by delivering innovative solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of insurance operations.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of SQL Server Oracle and PL/SQL with proven experience in database management and development.
Demonstrate expertise in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain with the ability to apply industry knowledge to technical solutions.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in analyzing and resolving database-related issues.
Show proficiency in English with strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging database technologies and trends.
Have a track record of successfully delivering database solutions that meet business objectives and enhance operational performance.

Certifications Required
