Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Software Engineer where you will leverage your expertise in SPUFI Endevor Changeman VSAM JCL DB2 and Cobol to develop and maintain robust software solutions. With a focus on the Cards & Payments domain you will contribute to innovative projects that enhance our companys offerings and impact the financial industry. This role requires working from our office during day shifts with no travel required.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software applications using SPUFI Endevor Changeman VSAM JCL DB2 and Cobol to meet business requirements and enhance system functionality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design implement and test software solutions that align with project goals and timelines.
Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications to ensure accurate and efficient software development.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimize system downtime.
Optimize code performance and ensure software quality through rigorous testing and debugging processes.
Document software designs technical specifications and user manuals to facilitate knowledge sharing and system maintenance.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into software development processes.
Contribute to the Cards & Payments domain by developing specialized software features that enhance transaction processing and security.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations to maintain data integrity and protect sensitive information.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders to facilitate successful project execution.
Engage in continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge in relevant areas.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and innovation. Qualifications
Possess a strong background in SPUFI Endevor Changeman VSAM JCL DB2 and Cobol with proven experience in software development.
Demonstrate expertise in the Cards & Payments domain with a focus on developing secure and efficient transaction processing systems.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues effectively.
Display strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders across various departments.
Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry advancements and best practices.

Certifications Required

Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or equivalent certification in relevant technologies.
