Key skillsets: Java, Springboot, Javascript, Legacy Javascript frameworks (Jquery, Backbone, ionette) Jenkins, AWS Cloud Autodesk User Management & Access team is looking for a talented SENIOR FULLSTACK ENGINEER to join a high-impact migration project modernizing our legacy platform As a Senior Fullstack Engineer on this project your pri y focus will be migrating our legacy UI to Spring Boot microservices and hosting UI pages on AWS, while also driving code refactoring, upgrades, security and resilience improvements, itoring, and other operational enhancements The project s legacy nature means you ll be navigating minimal documentation and limited subject matter expertise You ll need to dive deep into the code, uncover hidden logic, and solve problems through investigation, experimentation, and persistence Your contributions will directly improve efficiency, reduce operational overhead, and optimize infrastructure costs, delivering meaningful results for the organization Project responsibilities: Build and maintain highly available, resilient and secure production systems on AWS Cloud Migrate legacy UI systems to our new microservice architecture Upgrade legacy Java applications to Springboot applications ensuring high-quality and secure code Test, document and otherwise quality proof your work to ensure that software meets business and operational needs Maintain CI/CD pipelines to optimize deployment processes Troubleshoot any issues to identify root cause and appropriate resolution Support production deployments, operations and maintenance activities itor metrics and identify ways to improve logging, reporting, and alerting Follow agile principles and participate in Scrum cere ies Collaborate inside and outside the team - engaging with other engineering teams, product managers, support and security teams Qualifications: BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience Excellent knowledge and experience working with Java and related frameworks such as Spring/Springboot (this should include both newer Java versions as well as legacy versions, eg Java 8, Spring 3) Excellent knowledge and experience working with Javascript and related frameworks (including old frameworks like Backbone js/ ionette js, JQuery) Experience with CI/CD practices, build and deployment technologies (eg Maven, Jenkins, Docker) Experience working with REST APIs Experience working in production with AWS Cloud infrastructure (eg EC2, RDS, S3, Elastic Search) Understanding of security concepts and vulnerability management Strong communication and collaboration skills - you are pragmatic and know how to build trust About Autodesk User Management & Access:Our User Management and Access platform is at the forefront of the company s strategic investment and has tremendous visibility and impact across Autodesk The services and applications we build, own and support are business critical, tier-1 systems that must be highly available to provide our customers with seamless and intuitive access to manage their usersDisclaimer: The job location mentioned in this description is based on publicly available information or company headquarters.
