Role Summary

We are seeking a highly passionate Computer Science Instructor with an academic background in MSc Computer Science / MCA and strong technical expertise.

The Instructor will guide students through practical software development, mentor them through real-world product-building, and support their journey toward industry readiness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Mentoring

• Deliver high-quality sessions on programming, software development, and computer science fundamentals.
• Teach using a practical-first, project-based approach aligned with Zelox.io’s startup-style learning model.
• Mentor students on real-world product development, debugging, and technical execution.
• Support students across different learning paths: career-focused, founders, or hobby developers.

2. Technical Training

• Teach key technologies such as:
• Programming Languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++)
• Web Development (HTML, CSS, JS, MERN/MEAN stack preferred)
• Databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Software Engineering concepts
• Git, version control, and deployment basics
• Conduct hands-on workshops, code reviews, and practical labs.
• Help students understand industry best practices, clean code principles, and real-world workflows.

3. Student Progress & Evaluation

• Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and technical evaluations.
• Provide constructive feedback and guide students to improve coding and problem-solving skills.
• Support students in developing a strong portfolio aligned with industry requirements.

4. Collaboration & Program Development

• Work closely with the academic and product studio teams to refine curriculum modules.
• Participate in innovation discussions and contribute to improving the learning ecosystem.
• Help create course materials, learning resources, and project guidelines.

5. Professional Development Support

• Guide students in grooming, soft skills, and interview preparation related to tech roles.
• Motivate students to stay consistent, disciplined, and committed throughout the program.

Required Qualifications

• MSc Computer Science / MCA (Mandatory).
• Strong technical understanding and real-world application of software development concepts.
• 0–3 years of teaching or training experience (Freshers with strong fundamentals & passion for teaching are welcome).
• Excellent communication and student-handling skills.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

-Experience working on real-time projects.

-Knowledge of startup workflows, Agile/Scrum basics.

-Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

-Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for beginners.
