We are looking for a leader into our Fulfillment team to own and drive the vision to build next generation fulfillment platform to achieve our mission. About the Opportunity: Value Added Services (VAS) team (Also popularly known as Amazon Home Services (AHS)) in Hyderabad, India is building a WW Services platform which enables Amazon to seamlessly integrate professional services (including home improvement, installation, maintece, and lifestyle services) with product purchases. Were building a first-of-its-kind ecosystem that connects qualified service professionals with customers while maintaining the highest standards of trust, safety, and customer isfaction. Ideal Background: 1. Proven track record of leading complex technical initiatives and engineering teams 2. Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and scalable platforms 3. Experience with ketplace, fulfillment, or on-demand service platforms 4. Good business acumen and ability to translate strategic goals into technical solutions 5. Develop the next generation of technical leaders Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering their growth and driving technical excellence Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute on the product roadmap Drive data-informed isions to continuously improve the console experience Champion best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and operational excellence Represent the team in interactions with senior leadership and key stakeholders Balance short-term deliverables with long-term strategic goals In ate on behalf of customers by leveraging high value technologies, including Generative AI and other emerging tools Continuously seek ways to simplify complex tasks and improve user productivity 7+ years of engineering experience 3+ years of engineering team management experience 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations Experience partnering with product or program management teams Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers for more information.
