As a Software Development Engineer in Test , you will be responsible for:

• Testing and automation of App battery applications, creating test scenarios/Test cases and delivering high quality software solutions
• Using software development skills to develop and maintain tools and test automation frameworks
• Understanding product requirements and ensuring that they are covered as part of the implementation
• Collaborating and influencing through code reviews, design process and product development
• Creating and executing functional (integration, system) and non-functional (usability, performance, security) tests.

• Demonstrate experience using programming languages like Python or equivalent OOP languages.
• Understanding of PyTest automation frameworks
• Utilize Linux/Unix environments and Git for scripting, development, and system operations.
• Have experience of working in an Agile Team when developing products through the SDLC.
• Be detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills.
• Have to be passionate about quality, finding defects and breaking applications.
• Have ability to visualize a feature end-to-end with attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
• Be able to Design, develop, automate and maintain test cases
• Understanding of REST APIs, SQL and API testing.
• Be self-motivated, work with minimal supervision, be highly responsible and have effective communication skills.
• Be hands on Unix command line and Shell Scripting.
• Perform manual testing of newly developed applications.
• knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies is a plus
