🕐 Shift: 6:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST (Aligned with Canadian EST: 9 AM – 5 PM)

Software Developer In Test

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of experience in manual and automated testing
• Strong knowledge of test case design, execution, and defect tracking
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Postman, or similar)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Understanding of REST APIs and ability to test APIs effectively
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working with Git or similar version control tools is a plus

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, create, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation test scripts
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups aligned with Canadian EST hours
• Identify, log, and track defects, working with teams to prioritize fixes
• Ensure thorough regression testing before releases
• Help improve testing processes and advocate for best QA practices

A Day in the Life

• Your workday begins remotely around 6:30 PM IST, aligned with Canadian business hours
• Settle in with your favorite cup of coffee or tea ☕ and prep for the day
• Join the daily stand-up with the Canadian team to align on sprint goals
• Review new features and design test cases from your home workspace
• Execute manual and automated tests, report issues, and verify fixes in real time
• Participate in sprint demos, retrospectives, and QA improvement sessions
• Wrap up around 2:30 AM IST, documenting your progress and preparing for the next day

This is a high-ownership, fully remote QA role where your skills and attention to detail directly contribute to the quality of impactful healthcare solutions.
