Job Description

Role Overview: As a Project Manager at Mouser Electronics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring alignment of projects with corporate goals by monitoring, planning, prioritizing work assignments, and executing activities. You will be customarily and regularly directing the work of a team of software developers, providing feedback, training, and conducting performance reviews. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing the development and refinement of an SDLC, Agile Development, application standards, procedures, templates, and tools for system and software development and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: - Direct the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent, making suggestions and recommendations for performance and change of status. - Be integral in planning and designing the application architecture. - Present architectural options and design solutions for re-engineering or developing applications. - Ensure development projects are scoped and delivered properly to meet the requirements of both business and IT. - Monitor and manage a team of software developers, providing feedback, training, and conducting performance reviews. - Oversee the development and refinement of an SDLC, Agile Development, application standards, procedures, templates, and tools. - Utilize strong project management skills and experience. - Demonstrate strong design and application development skills and experience. - Apply strong people management skills and experience. - Possess good knowledge of information technology industry trends, products, techniques, technologies, and processes. - Write production level code in the same language(s) as the software developers in your team. - Exhibit very good written and verbal communication skills, including effective documentation of procedures and policies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. - Experience in Agile Software Development.
