About the Role

Junior Architect

Key Responsibilities

System & Solution Design

Participate in designing modular, scalable, and secure system architectures.
Translate functional requirements into technical design documents.
Work with Senior Architects to align designs with enterprise architecture principles.

Node.js & API Development

Design and build RESTful and GraphQL APIs using
Node.js/Express/NestJS
.
Ensure API design follows security, scalability, and reusability best practices.
Optimize server-side performance and implement caching strategies.

Database Architecture

Design schemas and queries for
SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
and
NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB)
databases.
Implement indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
Ensure database security, backup, and recovery strategies.

AWS Cloud

Work with AWS services such as
EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EKS/ECS
.
Support infrastructure automation using Terraform/CloudFormation.
Monitor cloud performance and implement cost optimization practices.

Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning

Collaborate with Data Scientists to integrate ML models into Node-based systems.
Use AWS AI services (SageMaker, Rekognition, Comprehend) for real-world applications.
Assist in deploying and monitoring AI pipelines in production.

Collaboration & Delivery

Work with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Participate in design/code reviews and propose improvements.
Document technical designs and architectural decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

6–8 years of experience in software development and system design.
Strong proficiency in
Node.js
and backend frameworks.
Solid experience in
API design, REST/GraphQL, authentication/authorization mechanisms
.
Strong understanding of
databases
(relational + NoSQL).
Hands-on experience with
AWS Cloud services
.
Exposure to
AI/ML integration
in applications.
Experienced with microservices, event-driven design, and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect (Associate).
Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, GitLab/Jenkins).
Prior experience in BFSI, SaaS, or enterprise systems.
