Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Workplace Operations:

    Oversee day-to-day functioning of office facilities including reception, housekeeping, security, transportation, and mailroom services.
  • Maintenance & Infrastructure:

    Manage preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, IT infrastructure coordination, and other building equipment.
  • Vendor & Contract Management:

    Handle service contracts for housekeeping, security, pantry, transportation, and maintenance suppliers; monitor SLA compliance.
  • Space & Occupancy Planning:

    Optimize workspace allocation, seating arrangements, meeting rooms, and ensure efficient utilization of office space.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance:

    Ensure adherence to safety standards, fire safety norms, emergency response planning, audits, and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control:

    Plan and track facility operation budgets, vendor billing, asset lifecycle management, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Sustainability Initiatives:

    Implement energy efficiency programs, waste reduction, green office practices, and sustainability reporting.
  • Employee Experience:

    Support employee satisfaction by ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained workplace with efficient services.

  • Bachelors degree (Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field)
  • Certifications (optional but advantageous):
    • IFMA’s CFM, FMP
    • LEED certifications
    • Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA)
