Social Media Marketing Intern

At Mediyum, we help SaaS and tech companies shape their product’s UX — from the first sketch to launch and beyond. We are working with a health-tech company — to define their product strategy and help them to go to market.

We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who lives on the internet, understands trends early, and uses AI heavily to generate ideas, posts, and short-form videos. This role is about learning how to grow an account — not just posting for the sake of it.

What you’ll do: 

• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, video tools, etc.) to generate content ideas, hooks, captions, and scripts
• Create and schedule posts across Instagram, Facebook & others
• Turn rough thoughts into carousels, short videos, and simple visuals
• Track trends, formats, and creators worth learning from
• Experiment with content styles and iterate based on engagement
• Help grow our client’s social presence consistently

What you’ll learn:

• How brands grow organically on social (especially on Instagram)
• How to use AI to speed up ideation and content production
• What actually drives reach, saves, and conversations
• How design, product thinking, and storytelling come together on social

What we’re looking for:

• Strong interest in social media and content creation
• Comfortable using AI tools to generate and refine content
• Good taste — you know what feels “good content” vs forced
• Curious about trends, formats, and internet culture
• Someone who wants to grow an account, not just manage one
