Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Manager at AMET University, located in Chennai. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and managing social media content across various platforms, developing and implementing social media strategies, optimizing content for engagement (SMO), and responding to audience interactions. You will monitor trends, analyze social media metrics, and collaborate with internal teams to align content strategy with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
• Strong skills in Communication and professional Writing
• Experience in planning and executing Content Strategy
• Familiarity with using analytics tools to track campaign performance and audience engagement
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Prior experience in educational or maritime institutions is an added advantage
