Social Media Intern

Role Overview:
We’re looking for a creative and motivated Social Media Intern who has prior internship experience in managing social media for e-commerce or D2C brands. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of social media platforms, be able to support in creating content calendars, coordinate with designers/editors, and bring fresh, engaging ideas to the table. Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing social media strategies tailored to clients.
• Support in creating monthly content calendars for client approvals.
• Coordinate with designers and video editors to ensure timely delivery of creatives.
• Share creative inputs to align posts with brand identity.
• Research and stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and viral opportunities.
• Contribute ideas and draft strategies for client campaigns.
• Track performance metrics and prepare basic reports.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams.
• Use social media tools for scheduling and engagement tracking.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Mandatory: Prior internship experience in social media marketing (preferably in a digital marketing agency).
• Understanding of e-commerce/D2C brand growth strategies.
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, and other major platforms.
• Creative mindset with ability to suggest engaging content ideas.
• Basic knowledge of social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, etc.).
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn in a team-driven environment.
• Proactive approach — can take initiative beyond just following instructions.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Exposure to influencer marketing.
• Basic understanding of paid ad campaigns.
• Experience in brainstorming or ideating short-form video content (Reels, Shorts)

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
