Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Social Media Intern to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, content creation, and community management. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for social media and a keen eye for engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Assist in the creation of engaging and original content (graphics, videos, posts, stories, etc.) for various social media platforms, including [e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest].
• Scheduling and Publishing: Help schedule and publish social media posts using a content management system like [e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer].
• Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels and engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and social media best practices to inform our strategy.
• Performance Tracking: Assist in tracking and analysing social media metrics and performance using analytics tools to help us understand what's working and what's not.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Demonstrable knowledge and active use of major social media platforms (Instagram, Youtube, Facebook, etc.). Please be prepared to provide links to personal or professional accounts.
• Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools is a plus (Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
• Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar is a plus.
• Video editing skills (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro) for creating short-form video content (Reels, Shorts) is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
