Job Title: Social Media Content Creator (Video Specialist)

Role Overview

RTRO Digital is seeking a versatile Content Creator who is equally comfortable behind the camera as they are in the editing suite. This is a full-cycle creative role: you will be responsible for planning the strategy, shooting the footage, and executing the final edit. We need someone who can take a brand’s message and turn it into high-impact visual storytelling.

Core Responsibilities

1. Content Planning & Strategy

• Develop monthly content calendars aligned with client goals.
• Conceptualize "hook-driven" ideas for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts..
• Write detailed scripts and create storyboards before production begins.

2. Video Production (The "Shoot")

• Act as the primary videographer for client shoots (using professional cameras or high-end mobile rigs).
• Manage basic lighting and audio setups to ensure high production value.
• Direct talent or clients on-set to capture authentic, engaging performances.

3. Post-Production (The "Edit")

• Edit raw footage into fast-paced, engaging social media content.
• Master the use of transitions, text overlays, trending audio, and color grading.
• Ensure all video content is optimized for various platform aspect ratios (9:16, 4:5, 1:1).

Technical Requirements

• Equipment Knowledge: Proficiency with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras or advanced iPhone cinematography (gimbals, mics, etc.).
• Editing Software: High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut (Desktop/Mobile). Knowledge of After Effects is a huge plus.
• Graphic Skills: Ability to use Canva or Photoshop to create eye-catching thumbnails and video covers.
• Language: Fluent in Malayalam and English (essential for scripting and localizing content).

• Portfolio Required: You must provide a link to a portfolio or social media handles showcasing videos you personally shot and edited.
• Trend-Obsessed: You know the latest transitions and viral formats before they go mainstream.
• Deadline-Driven: Ability to manage multiple client projects in a fast-paced agency environment.

• The Tech Stack: "Which camera equipment and video editing software are you most proficient in using for professional work?"
• The Process: "Describe your workflow from receiving a brief to delivering the final edited video. How much time do you typically spend on the 'planning' phase?"
• The Portfolio: "Please share a link to a Reel or Video you created where you handled the planning, shooting, and editing yourself."

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,979.44 - ₹31,812.89 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kadavanthara, Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
