Social Media and Digital Marketing Intern

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. Duties

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Conduct SEO and keyword research to optimize content for search engines.
• Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics to monitor performance metrics and analyze social media campaigns.
• Engage in social listening to track brand mentions and industry trends.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on graphic design projects using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Support public relations efforts by crafting press releases and managing relationships with influencers.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new marketing initiatives and campaigns.
• Edit videos and photos for social media posts to enhance visual storytelling.
• Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Assist with e-commerce strategies by promoting products through social media advertising.

Experience

• Familiarity with social media marketing strategies and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts including branding, public relations, and e-commerce.
• Experience or coursework in graphic design, photography, or video editing is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
• Understanding of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is beneficial.
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
