SOC Operations Lead

As a SOC Lead at our Vacuum Technique Business Area, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our cybersecurity posture. You will be leading three key streams: Security Operations, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Vulnerability Management. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the SOC team, managing incident response, developing and enforcing security policies, analyzing threats, and communicating regularly with senior management. This role requires a combination of strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices. Certifications such as CISM, ISO 27001 lead auditor, and GSOC are preferred. In the Security Operations stream, you will be responsible for overseeing security activities, incident response, account approvals, access requests, third-party apps assessment, process reviews, security and firewall changes assessment, reporting, customer assessment, and working with Group Security on ad-hoc tasks. Additionally, you will be involved in OT Security Baselining as needed. For Vulnerability Management, you will focus on activities such as pentest scoping, follow-ups, pentest and remediation reporting, exception processes, and liaising with product owners to achieve milestones within SLA. In the Mergers & Acquisitions stream, your responsibilities will include due diligence, pentest scoping, risk identification and remediation, ATP rollout, liaising with IT infra. Team, application review, and providing regular reporting as per group security requirements. Your technical skills will be crucial in conducting penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, risk assessment and management, threat intelligence analysis, patch management, configuration management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Soft skills such as analytical thinking, problem-solving, effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous learning will be essential for success in this role.
