Snowflake Architect

About The Opportunity

A leading Cloud Data & Analytics practice focused on enterprise-scale data warehousing and real-time analytics. We design Snowflake-native data platforms and ELT architectures that enable business intelligence, data science, and operational reporting for large, data-driven organisations. This is an on-site opportunity based in India to lead Snowflake design and implementation for strategic analytics programs.

Role & Responsibilities

Design end-to-end Snowflake data platforms: logical schema, storage/compute sizing, data partitioning, and security architecture.
Define and implement ELT patterns using Snowflake features (Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Tasks, Time Travel) and orchestration tools.
Develop and enforce data modeling standards (star/snowflake, vault, dimension/fact design) and performance-tuning best practices.
Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and analytics teams to translate requirements into scalable Snowflake solutions and reusable templates.
Build CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake deployments, SQL code promotion, and automated testing/validation of data pipelines.
Perform capacity planning, cost optimization, and implement governance controls (RBAC, masking, object tagging) for platform reliability and security.
