Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum & Content Development
• Develop detailed Chemistry content, lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments.
• Design question banks, practical manuals, HOTS questions, and exemplar problems.
• Ensure alignment with CBSE curriculum, NEP 2020 expectations, and competency-based learning.
• Innovate lab-based and activity-based learning modules.
• Lab Planning & Experimentation
• Design and review laboratory experiments with proper safety protocols.
• Maintain and update lab manuals, experiment sheets, and demonstration guidelines.
• Support teachers in conducting practical sessions effectively and safely.
• Teacher Training & Academic Support
• Train Chemistry faculty on subject delivery, lab safety, and innovative pedagogy.
• Conduct regular academic workshops, in-house training, and content review meetings.
• Provide subject clarification, conceptual reinforcement, and planning assistance to teachers.
• Academic Review & Quality Assurance
• Conduct content audits and review teaching practices across grades.
• Evaluate student performance data to recommend academic interventions.
• Ensure consistency in academic documentation, assessments, and evaluations.
• Instructional Innovation
• Integrate technology, simulations, and digital tools to enhance conceptual understanding.
• Develop enrichment modules for high achievers and remedial content for learners needing support.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Chemistry (M.Sc – Chemistry).
• B.Ed mandatory.
• 3–6 years of teaching or SME/content development experience.
• Strong conceptual clarity and understanding of CBSE curriculum and lab practices.

• Excellent subject expertise in Chemistry.
• Strong content writing and curriculum design ability.
• Experience in lab planning and safety protocols.
• Strong communication, presentation, and teacher-mentoring skills.
• Ability to design assessments and competency-based learning resources.
