Situation Vacant for Video Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in video editing software, a refined sense of visual storytelling, and the ability to transform raw footage into high-quality, engaging content. This role requires both creativity and precision, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This is a work-from-office job, and a salary is offered up to 18K.

Key Responsibilities

1. Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, professional final outputs suitable for multiple platforms, including digital, social media, and advertising campaigns.
2. Utilize advanced editing techniques using Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, CapCut, and/or other professional editing tools.
3. Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, visual effects, and sound design to enhance content quality.
4. Collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and production teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and brand guidelines.
5. Perform color correction, audio adjustments, and overall quality enhancements for consistent visual standards.
6. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high production standards.
7. Stay informed about industry trends, new editing styles, and emerging technologies to continuously elevate the quality of output.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Proven professional experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating expertise.
2. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is mandatory.
3. Experience with CapCut, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or other editing platforms is highly advantageous.
4. Strong understanding of video formats, frame rates, aspect ratios, and export settings for various platforms (e.g., social media, broadcast, web).
5. Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining strong attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
7. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)

1. Basic to advanced motion graphics or animation skills.
2. Graphic design capabilities (Photoshop, Illustrator).
3. Knowledge of current digital content trends, such as Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and performance-driven content strategies.
4. Experience in scriptwriting, storyboarding, or conceptual development.
