Site Warehouse Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and oversee warehousing and logistics operations for a multi-BU site.
• Plan and prioritize finished goods (FG) dispatches to ensure timely deliveries.
• Optimize space utilization for storage of Raw Materials (RMs), Packaging Materials (PMs), and FG.
• Ensure efficient management of RM and FG warehouses by 3PL service providers.
• Drive Site FMC - cost efficiency, deliver annual ANT / VE savings, and achieve OLC budget targets.
• Maintain service levels as per agreed SLAs with businesses.
• Lead and develop warehouse and logistics teams, ensuring adequate training and capability building.
• Ensure compliance with AN Safety Standards, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45000, and statutory norms.

• Manage safe and efficient unloading, storage, and handling of >1200 # RMs and >60# PMs, amounting to >2500 MT ( >70 Cr)
• Ensure systematic storage, accurate cycle counts (daily/weekly/monthly), and statutory stock-taking.
• Implement and monitor Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP transactions.
• Managing 1200-1500 # of Prebatches for all BU together in every month
• Maintain inventory accuracy, minimize scrap, and drive cost-effective storage practices.
• Time-to-time disposal of obsolete raw materials, packing material and SEFI with due authority approval to improve stock hygiene and accuracy.
• Ensure 5S implementation, compliance with HSE norms, and safe handling with PPEs.
• Manage and monitor 3PL service providers for efficiency and productivity improvement.

FG Warehouse & Logistics:

• Manage end-to-end FG warehouse operations, including exports and domestic distribution.
• Inventory of Min. of 2.5MnL (> 70-80 Cr) management at site.
• Manage >24 Mn L(700 Cr value) of FG billing annually at site with >800 SKUs, with a targeted YoY growth of at least 10%.
• Handle >1.6Mn L direct customer billing and >0.4 Mn L depot stock transfers.
• Ensure safe and damage-free transportation by selecting appropriate transport modes.
• Monitor transporter service levels, optimize dispatches, and achieve OTIF, Pick List TAT, and on-time delivery targets.
• Maintain compliance and cost targets for both domestic and export movements.
• Ensure proper documentation, transport security, and interaction with taxation for smooth operations.
• Time-to-time disposal of obsolete finished goods with due authority approval to improve stock hygiene and accuracy.
• Drive logistics KPI improvements and implement systems for continuous performance enhancement.

3. HSE Responsibilities

• Drive HSE&S lead and lag indicators for warehouse and logistics.
• Collaborate with HSE&S department to integrate safety into business processes.
• Contribute actively to the BBS program at site.
• Ensure safe warehouse and logistics operations both onsite and offsite.

4. DGSA Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all export-related legal requirements.
• Oversee marking, labelling, and placarding through third-party agencies.
• Ensure accuracy of transport documentation
• Maintain security of FG storage and distribution.

Preferred candidate profile

• University Degree.
• 10+years experience in Warehouse profile
• Good interpersonal relationships
• Good analytical and negotiation skills
• Good Industrial relations and labor legislation knowledge.
