Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor all PEB erection activities on-site, ensuring alignment with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interpret and review technical drawings; coordinate with the design team for clarifications and modifications.
• Manage and allocate manpower, erection tools, tackles, and site resources efficiently.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols throughout all site operations.
• Perform bolt tightening, torque testing, and alignment checks as per technical requirements.
• Coordinate with crane operators and erection teams for safe and efficient lifting and installation of steel structures.
• Maintain accurate records including Daily Progress Reports (DPR), material receipt logs, and site documentation.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, and inspection agencies to ensure work is progressing as per quality and schedule.
• Identify on-site issues and provide timely resolutions to minimise delays.
• Assist in project closure and final documentation for handing over the site.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of erection processes, safety standards, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication and structural drawings.
• Familiarity with site equipment like torque wrenches, alignment tools, and surveying instruments.
• Basic working knowledge of STAAD, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Project is preferred.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to relocate and stay at the project site as required.
