SITE SUPERVISOR ( SHIPBUILDING )

We are looking for candidates with a Shipyard, Shipbuilding, and Ship repair background specializing in Marine vessels. Applicants must have 5 to 10 years of experience in the industry.

The ideal candidate should have expertise in:

• Machinery installation, commissioning, testing, and trials
• Repair and maintenance of ship machinery and systems
• Shipbuilding mechanical outfit works, including piping and hydraulics
• Construction and repair of marine vessels
• Team management, including supervision of skilled and unskilled workers

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise the installation of mechanical systems on ships, including main engines, propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and piping
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and optimize vessel performance throughout the shipbuilding process
• Work closely with other engineering teams to integrate systems within the vessel design
• Oversee propeller shaft alignment during vessel construction to meet safety and technical standards
• Conduct tests and trials for main engines, diesel generators, compressors, pumps, oily water separators, hydrosphere's, and other equipment
• Ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles in ship systems
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of maritime regulations and shipbuilding standards
• Hands-on experience with shipbuilding practices and procedures
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork
