Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Site Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations at construction or project sites, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating with contractors, engineers, architects, and labor teams to ensure smooth execution of site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, drawings, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and project schedules.
• Inspect work progress and ensure adherence to quality standards and technical specifications.
• Manage site resources including materials, equipment, and workforce to optimize productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including work completed, materials used, and labor deployed.
• Conduct regular site meetings to review progress, address challenges, and align teams on deliverables.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Report project status, delays, and any on-site issues to project managers or senior management.
• Assist in cost control and inventory management by monitoring material usage and preventing wastage.
• Oversee site handover, inspections, and final completion documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience (3–10 years, depending on level) as a Site Supervisor in construction, infrastructure, or real estate projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team coordination skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project plans.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and site management tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,764.85 - ₹31,885.99 per month
