Entry level position in trainee engineer as part of our manufacturing, production, maintenance, construction training and development program. This position will provide an excellent developmental opportunity in operations and manufacturing combined with practical hands-on projects contributing directly to the performance and success of the company. Develops and improves manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. Drives product and process changes to reduce cost and lead time and improve quality and delivery. Position will include a mentor-ship and corporate exposure. Roles And Responsibilities- Support manufacturing production processes with all required technical needs. Develop and improve manufacturing processes by deploying product and manufacturing method enhancements. Determine product and process manufacturing flow and sequences, material and labour requirements, and quality inspection points. Create and maintain manufacturing routers and processes. Supervises and trains production employees through scheduling, monitoring and assisting when needed. Monitors equipment and facility for proper operations through reviewing logs, flash reports and visual and physical inspections. Assists with production and maintenance as needed including loading, unloading, car moving, cleaning, and process operations. Contribute to the development, implementation and qualification of manufacturing processes and procedures for new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives. Support the Manufacturing team by resolving manufacturing and quality related issues. Reviews daily production records and quality. Assists with inventory control as needed, including counting and sampling. Writes daily reports. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
