Site Supervisor Cum Civil Draftsman

Technical Drawings • Prepare 2D drawings and layout plans using AutoCAD or similar CAD software. • Create structural, architectural, and detailed construction drawings. Drawing Revisions • Modify and update drawings based on site changes, redline markups, or instructions from engineers/architects. • Ensure the latest drawings are available and distributed to the site team. As-Built Drawings • Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on completed site work. • Ensure these drawings reflect final site conditions. Coordination with Engineers • Collaborate with civil engineers and architects to understand design intent and translate it into accurate drawings. • Clarify any drawing discrepancies or issues. Documentation • Maintain proper records of drawings, plans, and project documents. • Organize hardcopy and digital files for easy retrieval. • Maintain daily site records such as logbooks, attendance sheets, delivery notes, etc. • Report progress, incidents, or delays to the senior supervisor. Site Supervision • Assist in supervising on-site work to ensure it aligns with project plans, safety standards, and timelines. • Monitor the activities of subcontractors, workers, and vendors. Work Progress Monitoring • Track daily work progress and report issues or delays. • Ensure the completion of tasks as per schedule and quality standards. Quality Control • Check materials, workmanship, and compliance with drawings and specifications. • Flag any defects or non-compliance and report for rectification. Safety Enforcement • Ensure that all site personnel follow health and safety protocols. • Conduct basic safety checks and assist in risk assessments. Site Cleanliness and Order • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe site environment. • Ensure waste is managed and disposed of properly. Required Skills & Qualities • Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential) • Knowledge of building codes and drawing standards. • Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials • Good communication and teamwork • Time management and multitasking abilities. • Attention to detail • Willingness to learn and take instructions • Familiarity with safety protocols
