Site Supervisor (Civil)

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising construction activities on site. Your main duties will include: - Directly overseeing the work of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel - Implementing and enforcing safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment - Monitoring work progress to ensure it meets required quality standards and project specifications - Managing personnel, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget constraints - Acting as a liaison between project managers, subcontractors, and the workforce for clear communication and coordination - Preparing regular reports on project progress, work completed, materials used, and any encountered issues - Developing and implementing work schedules to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks - Addressing and resolving any issues or challenges that arise on the construction site To excel in this role, you will need strong leadership and communication skills, a solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations, problem-solving abilities, and excellent organization and time management skills. Physical fitness is also important as the role may involve physical labor. Educational requirements typically include a high school diploma or equivalent for entry-level positions.
